AREAS OF SUPPORT

Depression

You don't have to navigate depression alone.

Depression can affect every aspect of your life, from your energy and motivation to your relationships and sense of purpose.

Therapy provides a supportive space to understand what's happening beneath the surface while building practical strategies that help you reconnect with yourself and the life you want to live.

THE APPROACH

My Approach

Our work begins with a comprehensive assessment to understand your experiences, symptoms, and goals for therapy. Together, we'll identify how depression is affecting your daily life, relationships, and overall wellbeing.

Throughout treatment, we'll regularly monitor your progress using evidence-based questionnaires to ensure we're moving in the right direction and adapting your treatment plan as needed.

Depending on your unique needs, therapy may include:

  • Rebuilding healthy daily routines

  • Reconnecting with meaningful activities and relationships

  • Learning nervous system regulation techniques

  • Identifying and reframing unhelpful thought patterns

  • Building practical coping strategies for everyday life

  • Collaborating with your family physician regarding medication, when appropriate

As symptoms improve and you begin feeling more confident, sessions become less frequent while ensuring you continue to feel supported in maintaining your progress.

THE EXPERIENCE

What You Can Expect

My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where you can slow down from the demands of daily life and focus on yourself.

Therapy is a collaborative relationship built on trust, honesty, and compassion. While I offer support and understanding, I also gently challenge patterns, thoughts, and behaviours that may no longer be serving you.

Every treatment plan is personalized because no two people experience depression in exactly the same way.

Ready to Take the First Step?

Healing doesn't happen overnight, but you don't have to do it alone. If you're ready to begin, I'd be honoured to support you on your journey.
