Finding Freedom Beyond Obsessions and Compulsions

Living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) can feel exhausting. Intrusive thoughts, uncertainty, and compulsive behaviours often interfere with work, relationships, and everyday life. While OCD can feel overwhelming, effective treatment can help you regain confidence and reduce its impact.

I provide treatment for individuals experiencing mild to moderate OCD using evidence-based approaches tailored to your specific symptoms and goals.

THE APPROACH

My Approach

Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment to better understand the thoughts, compulsions, and themes that are most affecting your life. Together, we'll identify how OCD is impacting your daily functioning and establish clear, meaningful treatment goals.

To help measure progress, we'll use standardized assessment tools, including the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS), throughout treatment.

Primary Treatment Method

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

The gold-standard treatment for OCD. Working together at a pace that feels manageable, we'll gradually practice facing feared situations while reducing compulsive responses — helping your brain learn that anxiety can naturally decrease without rituals.

When appropriate, I may also collaborate with your family physician regarding medication as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

THE EXPERIENCE

What You Can Expect

My goal is to create a supportive and structured approach where you feel challenged without feeling overwhelmed.

Recovery isn't about eliminating every intrusive thought,  it's about changing your relationship with those thoughts so they no longer control your life.

Together, we'll build confidence, resilience, and greater freedom through gradual, meaningful progress.

Take the First Step Toward Recovery

With the right support and evidence-based treatment, OCD can become much more manageable. You don't have to face it alone.
